Registry optimizer or Reg fix is registry repair program that has been out for several years now. The software has gained some popularity & it prompted me to review it myself. I tested it against some of the other registry cleaners & here are my thoughts.
The most important aspect of a registry cleaner is its ability to detect & repair registry problems. With our test computer in place we found it was only able to identity 34% of registry bugs. This is very poor percentage. Specifically it did not perform well in repairing Kernel & Runtime bugs. These are very important registry problems to repair in order to properly maintain the integrity of a system.
